Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients, engaging in activities and hobbies that promote social interaction and mental stimulation
• Assist with daily activities, including transfers, gait belt support, and safety supervision
• Administer medication reminders and support clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and snacks, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, maintaining a clean and safe living environment for clients
• Provide occasional transportation for errands or appointments, ensuring clients' access to essential services and activities

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience or a current certification as a CNA, HCA, HHA, PCA, or DSP (preferred)
• A valid driver's license, vehicle with insurance, and reliable transportation to clients' locations
• The ability to lift 50 pounds and work flexible shifts, including fill-in shifts
• Comfort working with pets and smokers (if applicable)

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• CPR certification
• Experience working with seniors or adults with disabilities
