Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and attitude anticipating for our patients.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient flow, insurance verification, and payment collection, while maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Handle patient appointments and conduct steering assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
• Engage in patient education, discussing healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan.
• Empower patients to become active participants in their healthcare and wellness through services like health screenings, social determinants of health, and chronic condition management.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Physician Assistant at blithequark, you'll need:

• A graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State License to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role, or a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (or related field) with current National Board Certification and State License to practice in the role.
• At least two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• The ability to pass the Spot certification test within 30 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
• The capacity to wear a respirator mask when protocol requires, following a FIT assessment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• If you have less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish, may be required depending on the market.

Compensation and Benefits
