Job Opportunities
We're currently hiring for two positions:
- Lead Instructors: Teach classes like Minecraft, video game creation, movie making, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, and more.
- Assistant Instructors: Support Lead Instructors in teaching classes and working with students.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Instructors:
- Lead classes of up to 13 kids solo and 30 kids with an assistant in a technology setting.
- Teach exciting classes like Minecraft, video game creation, movie making, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, and more.
- Manage and safely transfer equipment as needed for various classes.
- Complete the DOE compliance process within two weeks of offer to be hired.
Assistant Instructors:
- Support Lead Instructors in teaching classes and working with students.
- Assist with setting up and managing equipment.
- Complete the DOE compliance process within two weeks of offer to be hired.
Requirements and Qualifications
Lead Instructors:
- 21 years of age or older.
- College graduates with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology, or related fields.
- Significant relevant work experience or experience managing kids.
- Strong technology skills, such as 3D modeling, coding, game creation, or design.
- DOE clearance or current employment in DOE schools preferred.
Assistant Instructors:
- 18 years of age or older.
- College age students studying education, computer science, video game development, digital arts, film, information technology, or related fields.
- Strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting a plus.
