Job Summary

This transcription project involves listening to audio files and transcribing them into text according to a set of guidelines provided upon acceptance. As a Maba Transcriber, you will be responsible for transcribing assigned audio files, meeting project deadlines, and communicating effectively with project managers. The workload is dependent on project needs, and you will be paid per minute of audio transcribed.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe all assigned audio files accurately and efficiently
• Follow project guidelines and meet project deadlines
• Make consistent progress on assigned audio files
• Communicate with project managers in a timely and effective manner via email
• Ensure high-quality transcription output with excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation in Maba

Essential Qualifications

• Native-level (C2) proficiency in Maba, including the ability to read and write
• Excellent grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills in Maba (candidates will be required to take a test)
• High-speed internet access and access to email
• Strong typing skills and computer/internet skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
