About Our Company and the Role

Key Autism Services has been serving families since 2014, providing a range of programs and services tailored to the unique needs of individuals with ASD and related conditions. Our team of experienced professionals works collaboratively with clients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement effective treatment plans that drive positive outcomes. As an ABA/Autism Therapist with our organization, you'll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients in their homes, implementing evidence-based ABA therapy and counseling programs designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients with ASD
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions to inform treatment plans and progress monitoring
  • Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support plans, and execute treatment plans under the guidance of a BCBA Supervisor
  • Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
  • Respond promptly to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Maintain a professional and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work
  • Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, demonstrating a commitment to reliability and punctuality

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To excel as an ABA/Autism Therapist with Key Autism Services, you'll need:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting
  • 1 year of ABA experience or equivalent (e.g., Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Registered Behavioral Certification (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification with our assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans with youth and families
  • Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related conditions
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and practices

  • Physical stamina to lift up to 35lbs, bend, kneel, squat, and engage in activities that require fine and gross motor skills
