Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Remote Home Infusion Registered Nurse with Aetna, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing a wide range of infusion treatments in patients' homes, including medication administration and patient education
- Utilizing your clinical IV experience and personal touch to help patients recover in the comfort of their own homes
- Conducting one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education as per the physician's plan of treatment
- Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Participating in on-call rotation as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice (additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas)
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
