Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, chat, and scripted dialogue to resolve inquiries and provide solutions
  • Log calls and update customer account records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Utilize interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge to respond to daily customer-centric activities
  • Serve as the primary contact for dealership service departments and client customer breakdown departments
  • Manage cases, tracking multiple interactions required for specific repairs and ensuring timely resolution
  • Reduce downtime to enhance customers' experience and overall satisfaction
  • Escalate inquiries to product support, billing, sales, orders, or return/repair claims as needed
  • Conduct outbound calls to respond to submitted questions and provide timely and accurate solutions
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude in all interactions, ensuring exceptional customer experiences

Eligibility Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and two or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge
  • Or, master's degree in lieu of experience
  • Or, four or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge along with a high school diploma or equivalent

Remote Work Requirements

  • Michigan resident
  • High-speed internet access at home that can be connected to via Ethernet or landline
  • Secluded and distraction-free work environment

Schedule and Availability

As a remote agent, you'll be required to work shifts within our center's hours of operation:

  • Monday - Friday (no weekends!)
  • 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Eastern time

Reliability and punctuality are essential, as some queues are time-sensitive.

Skills for Success

Essential Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical product knowledge or experience in customer service
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of inventory management and parts ordering processes
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
