Job Summary

As a Full-Time Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our credit union, providing exceptional member service via phone, email, and online chat. You'll be responsible for responding to member financial inquiries, uncovering opportunities, and recommending financial solutions to help maintain the member's relationship with the credit union. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional member service via phone, email, and online chat, responding to member financial inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Uncover opportunities to recommend financial solutions to help members achieve their financial goals
  • Assist members with service requests and provide solutions on a variety of financial accounts
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and service goals
  • Stay up-to-date on credit union products and services, as well as industry trends and developments
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in a financial institution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and files
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with online chat software and other digital communication tools

  • Knowledge of credit union products and services, as well as industry trends and developments
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with members in multiple languages
