Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide them with knowledgeable assistance regarding cannabis products.
• Educate customers on various strains, consumption methods, and product effects to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
• Process transactions accurately using cash handling techniques and cash registers.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring shelves are replenished as needed.
• Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and recommending complementary items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all state regulations and company policies regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dispensary.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in environments involving cash handling and customer service.
• Familiarity with retail math and basic math skills is essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively engaging with customers and providing product knowledge.
• A collaborative mindset is important for working effectively within a team-oriented environment.
