About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, Analytics at blithequark, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's responsible for driving measurement, strategy, and decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to uncover insights, identify trends, and develop data-driven solutions that drive business growth. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our commercial strategies, optimizing operations, and improving customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize quantitative analysis and data visualization to drive business decisions and identify areas for improvement
• Design and implement full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
• Mentor junior analysts on advanced techniques and methodologies, and provide guidance on complex data analysis projects
• Develop recommendations and validate findings using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing
• Provide insights to business and product leaders on market dynamics, customer behavior, and long-term trends
• Identify and quantify levers to drive key metrics and make recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement, report, validate, and monitor logging and data quality
• Develop and maintain leader-facing dashboards to track progress against key objectives

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, consulting, or a related role
• Experience working with pipeline optimization, customer segmentation, cohort analysis, time series analysis, regression models, and other advanced statistical techniques
• Proficiency in SQL queries, ETL, A/B testing, and statistical analysis using tools like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python
• Experience with analytics and visualization tools like Chartio, Looker, or Tableau
• The ability to take ambiguous problems and break them down into structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported solutions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities
• A strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools like AWS or Google Cloud
