Job Functions:
As a Retail Customer Service Cashier at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing fast, friendly, and accurate services to customers, including helping them find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing their needs.
- Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
- Ensuring proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products using a variety of methods and technology.
- Maintaining a clean and organized working area, including the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
- Cross-training in other departments, such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles, to develop your skills and advance your career.
Essential Qualifications:

- Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds, and work in various temperatures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
