Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician & Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, and resolving client complaints
  • Handling and resolving client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
  • Clarifying orders as needed
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients
  • Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow

Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with LTC pharmacy experience preferred
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge
  • Great telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
