Key Responsibilities
As an Online Customer Service Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling all incoming internet, email, social media, text, chat, and phone inquiries in a prompt, professional, and well-spoken manner
- Assisting customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs, taking into account their preferences and requirements
- Conceptualizing and understanding the psychology of internet customers to set appointments for vehicle demonstrations
- Directing customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet
- Checking email frequently and responding to inquiries immediately
- Delivering inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly
- Collaborating with Sales and Management staff to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the dealership experience
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Availability to work Monday through Sunday, with flexible hours ranging from 8:30am to 7pm (or variations during open business hours)
- Strong attendance record, with the ability to adhere to attendance guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting sales quotas and closing percentages
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
