As a Service Desk Specialist/Live Chat Agent, you will be the frontline support for our users, providing Tier I assistance and troubleshooting issues across iOS and Android platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide top-notch customer support and assistance for the myColorado mobile application via live chat, ensuring prompt resolution of user queries and issues.
  • Troubleshoot, reproduce, and report problems across iOS and Android operating systems, collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Install the myColorado software on supported devices, adhering to defined procedures and processes.
  • Employ Incident Management procedures to enter tickets into our tracking system, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our standard operating procedures and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in mobile technology.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in a related occupational field, such as mobile application support or customer service.
  • Or an Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

We also consider substitutions for the required education and experience, including:

  • Additional relevant paid or unpaid experience, which can substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional education, which can substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Relevant training or certification, which can be credited towards substitution for experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you will ideally have:

  • Experience working with Jira or other issue tracking systems.
  • ITIL Certification, demonstrating your understanding of IT service management best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience working in a government or public sector setting.
  • Knowledge of Apple and Google Play Store ecosystems, as well as diagnostic tools and diverse mobile device makes and models.

Work Schedule and Training

Our ideal candidate is available for:

  • Three weeks of training, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM.
  • A permanent schedule of Tuesday to Saturday, 9 AM - 6 PM, after completing training.
