Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud applications that drive business success. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products that meet our clients' expectations. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products
- Work closely with our product management team to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet our clients' needs
- Develop and maintain high-quality software code that meets our coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that our software products meet our quality standards
- Collaborate with our testing team to ensure that our software products meet our testing standards and are delivered on time
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that our software products are well-documented and easily maintainable
- Participate in our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure that our software products are delivered quickly and efficiently
- Collaborate with our operations team to ensure that our software products are deployed and maintained in a production-ready environment
- Participate in our on-call rotation to ensure that our software products are available and performing well at all times
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
- Experience with distributed computing, including Sky blue, GCP, or AWS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time, with a valid passport and ability to travel throughout the US
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on-call rotations without prior notice
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to work in the US, with a valid work visa or green card
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with budgeting and financial management
- Experience with project management, including Agile methodologies
- Strong knowledge of business capabilities and business activities, targets, and methodologies
- Familiarity with JetBlue's IT disciplines and interdependencies, and how their needs drive IT strategy
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on innovation and continuous learning
