Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at Blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output
  • Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
  • Scanning documents and printing files as needed
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data integrity and security policies
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files
  • Ensuring proper use of office equipment and addressing any malfunctions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities are essential for success in this role:

  • Data Entry: Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
  • Data Compilation and Verification: Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Data Review and Correction: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check output
  • Research and Information Gathering: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scan documents and print files when needed
  • Confidentiality and Data Security: Keep information confidential and comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Query Response and File Access: Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Office Equipment Management: Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Proven Data Entry Experience: Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk
  • Technical Skills: Experience with MS Office and data programs, as well as familiarity with administrative duties
  • Typing Speed and Accuracy: Typing speed and accuracy, with excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and organization skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
