Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Chat Moderator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that our community guidelines are upheld and that users feel safe and supported. Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Moderator, your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and moderating our official Discord server to ensure that users adhere to our community guidelines
• Deleting messages that violate our rules and guidelines
• Banning users who repeatedly violate our rules and guidelines
• Muting users who have violated our rules and guidelines
• Investigating reports made by users about violations of our rules and guidelines
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive online community
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To be at least 18 years of age
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to navigate complex social dynamics and online communities
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications
