Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation and Content team. As a Data Analyst, you will apply advanced data analysis methods to drive business decisions, investigate client behavior, and anticipate content engagement. You will work closely with our content team to develop and implement data-driven strategies that enhance our content portfolio and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
- Investigate client behavior (e.g., content preferences, viewing patterns) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Anticipate content engagement to inform acquisition decisions and optimize content delivery
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance content release and episode release methodologies
- Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and operational direction
- Provide specialized analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate key findings through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and AI procedures
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python programming languages
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to tackle complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-based data storage solutions
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles
