Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Agent - Airport Operations and Logistics, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
  • Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related incidents.
  • Operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion, while ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Utilizing baggage scanners and computers to accurately route baggage to customers' destinations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless airport operations and providing exceptional customer service.

Work Environment and Schedule

As a Customer Service Agent, you'll work in a fast-paced airport environment, with varying shifts ranging from early morning to overnight. You'll be required to work between 20 and 40 hours per week, based on operational needs and your seniority. Our airport stations operate 24/7, and you'll be expected to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

What You Need to Succeed

To be a successful Customer Service Agent, you'll need:

  • Consistently prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in English
  • Pass a physical ability test (PAT)
  • Wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to hold airport-specific requirements, such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal
