A Day in the Life of a Remote Online Chat Representative at blithequark
As a Remote Online Chat Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing exceptional service to our members through multiple digital channels, including chat, messaging, email, and phone. Your day will be filled with:
- Efficiently and effectively answering member inquiries, solving problems, and assisting with transactions and lending inquiries through digital channels.
- Providing support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted within a timely manner.
- Effectively discussing member's needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for all online products and services, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat and Text Support.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of blithequark's products and services.
Remote Online Chat Representative Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a customer service position.
- Must meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program (more information below!).
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.
Telecommuting Requirements
To ensure a seamless and secure experience, we require:
- A dedicated workspace.
- Secure and strong internet connection.
- Not being a caretaker for any dependents (adult or child) for the entirety of the scheduled shift.
- An environment free from loud noises or outside distractions.
Training and Onboarding
The first 60 days of your employment will be spent on-site at our Corporate Campus located at 2675 O'Neal Lane in Baton Rouge, where you'll receive comprehensive training and onboarding.
