Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful online community on our official Discord server. This will involve moderating chat conversations, enforcing community guidelines, and resolving conflicts in a fair and impartial manner. Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

• Moderating chat conversations on our official Discord server to ensure a positive and respectful online community
• Deleting messages that violate community guidelines
• Banning users who repeatedly violate community guidelines
• Muting users who have violated community guidelines
• Investigating reports made by users about violations of community guidelines
• Collaborating with other team members to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive online community
• Providing excellent customer service and support to users
• Staying up-to-date with community guidelines and adapting to changes as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will need:

• To be at least 18 years old
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management

Preferred Qualifications
