Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our after-hours team, providing support to clients and caregivers across the United States. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fully remote environment, with a flexible schedule that offers a 3-day working week of 4-hour shifts per day, plus Saturday and Sunday shifts of 12 hours per day. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative - After Hours Support for Elderly Home Based Care Services, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours support
  • Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
  • Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
  • Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
  • Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
  • Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
  • Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Fluent in English: You'll need to communicate effectively with clients and caregivers across the United States.
  • Compassionate and confident: You'll be working with vulnerable clients and caregivers, so it's essential to be empathetic and confident in your abilities.
  • Responsible and reliable: You'll be working independently in a remote environment, so it's crucial to be self-motivated and reliable.
  • 10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties: You'll need to have a strong background in customer service, with experience in office duties and administration.
  • Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours: Our after-hours schedule requires flexibility, so you'll need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and work irregular hours.
  • Impeccable phone and computer skills: You'll need to be proficient in using our platform and technology to communicate with clients and caregivers.
  • Staffing and/or health care experience: Experience in staffing or healthcare is highly desirable, as you'll be working with caregivers and clients in the elderly home care sector.
  • Experience working remotely and independently to the USA: You'll need to be comfortable working in a remote environment and communicating with clients and caregivers across the United States.
  • Quiet and professional work-from-home environment: You'll need to have a dedicated workspace that's free from distractions and interruptions.
  • Remotely set up with Wi-Fi and load-shedding back-up: You'll need to have a reliable internet connection and a backup plan in case of power outages or internet disruptions.
