Responsibilities
As an Experienced Group Exercise Instructor, you will be responsible for:
- Guiding members in exercises to minimize injury and promote fitness, while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants
- Supporting and developing Fitness Goals that align with the Club Culture and promote a healthy lifestyle
- Assisting members in reaching individual goals and providing personalized guidance and support
- Conducting individual assessments and following up on Fitness/Wellness goals to ensure progress and success
- Modifying exercises according to members' fitness levels to ensure inclusivity and accessibility
- Experience in aquatic exercise, cycle, Zumba, kick-boxing, circuit training, dance yoga, and Pilates is highly desirable
- Ability to add variety to classes and adjust as needed to encourage and motivate Wellness goals
- Availability to cover Fitness Center Desk as needed to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Focus on Member/Guest satisfaction and providing outstanding Customer Service
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using fitness software and technology
- Professional appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- CPR Certification required
- NASM, AFAA, ACE, ISSA, NFPT, or ACSM Certification preferred
- Experience in group exercise instruction and program development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
