Key Responsibilities

• Make no-touch cargo deliveries to Walmart stores within the district
• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
• Meet or exceed customer satisfaction expectations
• Participate in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders

What You'll Do

As a CDL-A driver for our private armada, you'll make no-touch cargo deliveries of products to Walmart stores within the district. You'll be responsible for operating a Class A CDL vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding customer satisfaction expectations, and participating in pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Class A CDL driver who is passionate about driving, committed to safety, and eager to grow their career. If you have:

• 30 months of past CDL-A experience in the last four years
• A safe driving record and commitment to maintaining high-safety standards
• Pride in your profession as a driver and the potential to represent the company and our values on the road
• A commitment to customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• A positive, cooperative attitude that contributes to the overall success of the team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have a valid Highway (Class A) Business Driver's License with Hazardous Materials endorsement (including cleared background check) or obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement (with cleared background check) within 120 calendar days of hire date
• Have at least 30 months of experience working in a full-time Class A farm hauler/trailer driving situation in the past 4 years OR complete the Walmart Armada Improvement Foundation Program
• Have no more than two (2) moving violations while operating an individual or business engine vehicle in the last three (3) years
• Have no serious misdemeanors while operating a business engine vehicle in the last three (3) years
• Have no preventable accidents* while operating a business engine vehicle in the last three (3) years
• Have no preventable Spot recordable accidents* (crashes resulting in disabling injury or potentially quick medical treatment away from the scene) while operating a business engine vehicle in the last ten (10) years
• Have no preventable accident* resulting in a casualty or disastrous injury in driving history (business engine vehicle)
• Currently live within 250 miles of the assigned office or be able to establish a home within 250 miles by 90 days from hire date

*The preventability of any accidents not entirely settled by Walmart given the ATA Rules.
