Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry and Management: Accurately input customer and account data into digital databases, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Data Verification and Validation: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and verify the accuracy of output to maintain data integrity.
  • Research and Documentation: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, and compile, verify, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Customer Service Support: Update order statuses for customers, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate data entry.
  • Reporting and Backup Operations: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to maintain data security and integrity.
  • Document Scanning and Printing: Scan documents and print files, when needed, to ensure seamless data entry and customer service processes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills, including touch typing and database management tools.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think analytically and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective customer service and collaboration with team members.
  • Experience: Experience working in a data entry or customer service role is a plus, but not required.

Compensation
