Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced full-stack nurse practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals in a remote work-from-home setting. Key Responsibilities
As a nurse practitioner with Aetna, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions
- Conducting thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, as well as providing education and counseling to patients and their families
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, including lab results and imaging studies
- Prescribing medications and treatments, as well as monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including documentation of medical history, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state of practice
- At least two years of clinically significant experience as a nurse practitioner, preferably in a primary care or community health setting
- Completion of the Spot certification test within 30 days of hire
- Ability to speak and write in multiple languages, including Spanish (dependent on market requirements)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED training
- Ability to pass a FIT assessment and wear a provided respirator mask when required
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with the following qualifications:
- Previous experience as a nurse practitioner with MinuteClinic or a similar organization
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or gerontology
