About the Role

As a full stack data engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipeline, which is the backbone of our business. You will work closely with our data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines that are scalable, efficient, and secure
  • Developing and maintaining data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborating with data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data analytics solutions
  • Working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and knowledge base for data pipeline and related systems
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues and errors

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement data pipelines that are scalable, efficient, and secure

  • Develop and maintain data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and implement data analytics solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for data pipeline and related systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and errors

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, programming, or related field
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data analytics
  • Experience with data pipeline development and management using tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing using AWS services such as S3, EMR, and Redshift
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with petabyte-scale data processing and management

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and Apache Druid
  • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality control
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
