Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Benefit Verification Specialist to join our national team at CVS Health. As a Benefit Verification Specialist, you will play a critical role in verifying insurance coverage, performing benefit investigations, and obtaining prior authorization for patients receiving in-home IV therapy. This dynamic and fast-paced role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage for patients receiving in-home IV therapy
• Perform benefit investigations to determine coverage and eligibility
• Obtain prior authorization for new and existing patients
• Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers
• Stay up-to-date on insurance carrier policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Patient Intake Coordinators to resolve coverage and eligibility issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors
• Epic experience
