Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing inbound calls from customers regarding their insurance policies. You will assist with entry-level auto and property policies, answering questions about policy coverage, billing, and modifications. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, and your goal will be to provide exceptional service, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure customer satisfaction. While waiting for your license to be processed, you will focus on handling billing calls, and once licensed, you will take on a broader range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process inbound customer calls regarding insurance policies
  • Answer questions and provide information about policy coverage, billing, and modifications
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilize system tools to search for answers and information
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and business goals

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and have a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You should have a professional customer service aptitude, basic conflict resolution skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, navigating system tools, and utilizing computer systems and data systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or a related field
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
