Responsibilities
As an Experienced Bookkeeping Software Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to customers using bookkeeping software, including:
- Assisting customers with questions related to accounting software processes, ledger entry, navigation, and other troubleshooting needs
- Demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Providing high-quality customer service over the phone in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment
- Cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
- Taking ownership of customer issues and providing confident resolution
- Communicating with a friendly tone and professional demeanor

Earnings Potential
As an independent contractor with blithequark, you can earn up to $20.40 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if available for the full 60 minutes.
Schedule
Our flexible schedule opportunities allow you to create your own schedule, with availability between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Bookkeeping/accounting expertise, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and other related tasks
- Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer service over the phone
- Comfort with cross-selling relevant products while addressing customer concerns
- Strong ownership of customer issues and ability to provide confident resolution
- Tech savvy and avid computer user
- Friendly tone and professional demeanor

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:
- A quiet, uninterrupted space
- An organized desk area
Technology Requirements
To perform your duties, you will need:
- A personal computer (no tablet)
- Broadband internet connection, at least 10 Mbps download speed
- Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet)
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- Mac users: Mac acceptance is limited to Intel-based machines with Windows 11 installed via Apple's Boot Camp utility
Important Information
Please note that this program is only available to contractors residing in the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington. You must also successfully pass a criminal background check.
Contractual Relationship
As an independent contractor with blithequark, you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with us. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
