Job Summary
As an Experienced Home-Based Behavior Interventionist, you will work with children and families in their homes, providing individualized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals. This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires a strong background in behavior intervention, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children and families.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide home-based behavior intervention services to children and families, including developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and guidance
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans
- Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with other team members to share best practices and ensure high-quality services
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in psychology, child development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with children, including babysitting or working with family members
- Strong background in behavior intervention, including knowledge of ABA principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass TB test and background check
- Willingness to drive to clients' homes and schools throughout San Diego county
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in psychology, child development, or a related field
- Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Certification in ABA or a related field (e.g. BCBA, RBT)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
