Key Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into our computer databases using online computer terminals or personal computers.
- Keying and verifying results according to established procedures.
- Recognizing and correcting errors in original data prior to processing.
- Identifying deficiencies in source documents and returning them to the originator for correction.
- Maintaining customer and staff databases.
- Performing clerical duties for our office administrator.
- Maintaining computerized departmental records.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Some experience in data entry, preferably in a similar industry or field.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, and file maintenance skills.
- Ability to use personal computers and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing tasks.
- Familiarity with Management Information System (MIS) software.
- Ability to meet established deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
