Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving customer inquiries and complaints, and driving customer retention. Responsibilities
As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Answering customer calls professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner
- Focusing on customer retention and providing customers with the organization's service standards
- Identifying, escalating priority issues, and reporting to high-level management as necessary
- Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as required
- Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the CRM
- Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document complaints and inquiries
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual skills (a plus)
- Some sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
* Some experience with MS Excel
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with CRM software
