Core Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Manage all aspects of recruitment — intake meetings, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and offer coordination.
  • Prioritize filling 10+ open roles across marketing, operations, and e-commerce within established timelines.
  • Create and maintain candidate trackers, providing daily progress updates to the HR/People Operations Manager and weekly hiring progress summaries to leadership.
  • Maintain strong candidate pipelines and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout all stages of the hiring process.

Process Optimization & Reporting

  • Develop or refine job description templates, interview scorecards, and evaluation rubrics.
  • Streamline interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer management workflows for efficiency.
  • Track and report key recruiting metrics, including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and candidate conversion rates.
  • Build an organized, easily transferable candidate pipeline database for the HR Manager to inherit.

Compliance, Market Awareness & Best Practices

  • Stay current on market trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition, particularly within beauty, CPG, and DTC industries.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and company hiring policies, including documentation and equal opportunity standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all recruiting activities.

Employer Branding & Representation

  • Represent Bask & Lather professionally and enthusiastically in all candidate interactions.
  • Support light employer branding initiatives, such as posting openings on LinkedIn, managing inbound applicants, and refining the careers page.
  • Contribute to building Bask & Lather’s reputation as an employer of choice in the beauty and wellness industry.

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of recruiting experience (agency or in-house).
  • Strong background filling marketing, creative, and operations roles in beauty, DTC, CPG and startup environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of roles.
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools and systems (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Bamboo HR).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience building recruiting systems or documentation a plus.

Contract Details This is a 1099 independent contractor position.

  • Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance coverage.
  • This role is not eligible for company-provided benefits.
  • The scope of work is limited to the duration and deliverables of the contract.
  • Extension opportunities may be available based on performance and company needs
