Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer service and sales interactions, resolving support issues, and selling new products and services to ensure a positive and enthusiastic customer experience. As a remote customer service agent, you will interact with hundreds of customers each week, utilizing systems and technology to complete account management tasks, recognize sales opportunities, and apply sales skills to upgrade. You will be the face of blithequark, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, including data entry and customer interactions
  • Recognize sales opportunities and apply sales skills to upgrade and promote blithequark's products and services
  • Explain and position blithequark's products and processes with customers, providing clear and concise information
  • Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction with the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up
  • Ensure first call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for repeat contacts

Candidate Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should be highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. You should have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute). You should also have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and a basic understanding of Windows operating system.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
