Job Overview

Our client is a full-service self storage company that operates at the forefront of the self storage industry. We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join their team, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time sales/management position. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving issues, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Calling customers with outstanding balances to collect payments and resolve issues
  • Following up with customers who have expressed interest in storage units to ensure a seamless experience
  • Initiating the auction process for customers who have not paid their storage fees
  • Implementing a tenant protection program to safeguard customer belongings and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in customer service roles, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task with several windows open on your computer at one time
