Customer Service Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer care and focus, with the ability to assess customers' needs and provide the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experience
- Answering and managing incoming calls, emails, chats, and/or interactive voice response systems with a high level of professionalism and empathy
- Learning and following all customer service procedures and policies, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization
- Striving to meet and exceed personal and team target goals, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Recording, organizing, and filing customer interactions and account changes in a timely and accurate manner
- Upselling and cross-selling products and services to customers, where applicable
- Scheduling call backs and appointments to resolve customer needs and ensure timely resolution
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively over the phone and other communication platforms
- Basic computer skills and experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to listen actively, relay information, and answer questions and/or concerns in a clear and concise manner
- Customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering positive customer experiences and resolutions
