The Role

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data into our company's databases with accuracy and efficiency. You will work closely with employees and customers to gather information, identify errors, and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities will be essential in ensuring the success of this role.

Responsibilities

* Maintain database accuracy by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and efficient manner

  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and processing customer and account source documents
  • Review data for deficiencies and resolve issues using standard procedures
  • Liaise with employees and customers to gather information and resolve discrepancies
  • Identify and correct errors, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
  • Ensure data entry is completed accurately and efficiently, with minimal errors

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with database management systems, such as Microsoft Access or Oracle

  • Familiarity with data entry software, such as Data Entry Pro or Key2Act
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or other database languages
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
