Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, shipping and receiving, customer service, and billing. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Performing all functions and responsibilities of a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, including scheduling cases and invoicing cases
  • Receiving cases, opening cases, and disinfecting cases for production
  • Packing and shipping cases for delivery through local sources or national carriers
  • Scheduling cases and performing the scheduling function for each case
  • Entering demographics and customer information through our LIS system
  • Printing preference notes matching to cases
  • Moving cases into production areas
  • Invoicing cases and assisting with billing questions or issues
  • Scanning paperwork for each case for electronic storage
  • Answering all incoming calls and responding to inquiries from customers' offices
  • Referring technical inquiries to appropriate team members
  • Performing all other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities Required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

Minimum Education and Experience Required

* High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Some billing experience required

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist / Part-time, you will be working with:

  • Disinfectant process chemicals
  • Personal protective equipment as required
  • Office equipment
  • Other hazardous materials and/or equipment as necessary

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Regularly sitting, standing, walking, and/or reaching
  • Exhibiting fine motor skills and/or performing repetitive motions
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Repeated bending and kneeling
  • Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 25 pounds
