Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal
- Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of our policyholders
- Counseling policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure they have sufficient protection against risks covered by property and casualty insurance
- Making recommendations and/or changes to policies and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes
- Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC
- Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
- Providing quotes on endorsements as requested
- Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies
- Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner
- Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
- Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer
- Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information

What We Need from You
* High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
- Property and Casualty insurance license required
- Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Work Schedule
* Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST with rotating Saturdays with team
- Saturday hours would be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
