Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-time Remote Data Entry Specialist. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will be responsible for transcribing source data into various electronic data capture (EDC) systems, verifying data integrity, and assisting with quality controls. If you have experience in data entry, a strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

As a Part-time Remote Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Transcribing source data into various EDC systems per protocol requirements and following established standards
• Verifying the integrity of data by comparing it to source documents
• Following established standard operating procedures (SOPs), good clinical practice (GCP), and other applicable regulatory requirements in the execution of all EDC activities
• Answering queries within the EDC system in a timely manner
• Assisting the clinical research team with quality controls (QC) of patient files per ERA's established standards
• Preparing and scanning documents into EDC systems and ERA's database
• Assisting the clinical team with preparing for onsite monitoring visits for each study protocol

Requirements

• A High School Diploma
• High attention to detail
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility during our company's growth stage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members

Desired Skills & Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

• 1-2 years of experience in data entry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of research EDC systems (Veeva Vault, Medrio, IBM, OpenClinica, MedidataRAVE, etc.)
