Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our Inbound Call Center team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators. You'll work closely with our clients to provide technical and emergency damage prevention services, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer inbound calls and follow scripted questions from callers who will be digging
- Obtain information about the customers and their work site
- Data enter information into a ticket format
- Identify the work site on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
- Communicate effectively and create positive relationships with excavators, peers, and management
- Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
- Accurately read digital maps
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
- Demonstrate an interest in public safety
- Understand and apply new concepts
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
- Ability to listen and problem solve effectively
- General computer skills
- Ability to adhere to a work schedule including having good attendance
- Ability to work as a team
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Willingness to work overtime based upon the business needs of the call center
- Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
- Must pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous customer service experience
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Familiarity with mapping systems and digital maps
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
