Experienced Home-Based Sr. Specialist in Collections – Remote Customer Service Representative

- Interact with guests and negotiate bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections
- Provide a personalized, Target-branded experience through courtesy, friendliness, and a deep understanding of guest segments and needs
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills through probing or making recommendations for handling exceptional account situations
- Work in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and dynamic, requiring you to prioritize work accordingly
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of previous customer service experience or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making abilities
- Experience handling escalated customer complaints and de-escalating tense situations
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to work within multiple systems and high proficiency with PC/Microsoft applications
- Access to a home workspace that's free from noise distractions and meets our technical requirements (hardwired internet, 40mbps download/5mbps upload, etc.)
- Ability to interact through a Target-issued internet digital camera for required meetings, training, and/or interactions
- Ability to securely lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
