Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary.
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs.
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Promoting interest in client products and services through effective communication and engagement.
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image in all interactions.
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team as needed.
  • Assisting with overflow work and other duties as required.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience, with a basic understanding of computer applications and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • An upbeat, positive, and professional attitude, with a strong emphasis on empathy and kindness.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to compose professional emails and engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Basic technical skills, including the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications.
  • A strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
