About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in a 100% remote work arrangement. As a Customer Service Specialist, your primary role will be to provide exceptional support and an effortless experience to our policyholders, addressing their insurance questions, policy changes, and billing needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of ensuring that we exceed our policyholders' expectations, utilizing every touchpoint as an opportunity to build value and the blithequark brand
  • Providing exceptional customer service experiences to our policyholders in every interaction
  • Handling inbound telephone calls from customers with questions or servicing needs related to their home, auto policies, and/or billing
  • Initiating claims according to claims best practices and assisting with existing claim inquiries
  • Being the first point of contact for our policyholders, explaining the claims process, initiating damage appraisals, and organizing car rental where appropriate
  • Promoting digital self-service capabilities and utilizing multiple computer applications with accuracy

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated background in customer service, insurance, retail, restaurant, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to empathize with customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment while multitasking
  • Strong attention to detail and experience working in a Windows-based computer environment
  • The ability to work in a collaborative environment, with problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus, as they can help develop and enhance strong, impactful customer relationships
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, with a bachelor's degree being a plus

Technical Requirements for Remote Work

To ensure a seamless remote work experience, you will need:

  • High-speed broadband internet service (we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem, or Satellite)
  • An internet provider-supplied modem/router/gateway that is hardwired to the blithequark-issued computer with an Ethernet cable
  • Minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/100Mbps (you can confirm your internet speed by visiting http://www.speedtest.net from your personal computer)

The listed annualized base pay range for this role is $42,560 - $83,160, with opportunities for growth and bonuses based on performance and demonstration of competencies required for the role.
