Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in customer service to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, handling customer inquiries, and performing a range of administrative tasks. Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including data entry, order processing, and customer service tasks
- Answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a fair and efficient manner
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
- Clarifying orders as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong background in customer service
- LTC pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Great telephone etiquette, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
