Job Summary

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, resolving complex issues, and helping our customers navigate the often-complex world of health insurance. You'll work closely with our team of experts to provide personalized support, answer questions, and address concerns. Your passion for customer service, combined with your technical skills and problem-solving abilities, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer experiences through inbound and outbound calls, online chat inquiries, and email support

  • Manage customer accounts, provide technical support, and resolve complex issues
  • Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Manage time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Participate in extensive self-study, training, and testing to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
  • Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age or older

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • High level of comfort learning new technology and adapting to changing systems and processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer support or technical support role

  • Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
  • Previous experience in a Call Center environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Spanish Bilingual, a plus
