Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers to sell P&C insurance policies and provide solutions for their insurance needs.
  • Manage time and resources effectively to meet sales goals consistently and minimize wait times.
  • Build rapport with potential customers to reinforce the value of blithequark's brand and our insurance products.
  • Develop strong knowledge of products and services offered to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
  • Handle all interactions promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current active resident property and casualty insurance license (General P&C, NOT Personal Lines) in a minimum of 25 to 50 states.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in an inbound service environment or the insurance industry.
  • Proven attendance reliability and a flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment.
  • Insurance industry sales experience.
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines.
  • Excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections.
  • Articulate, professional, and possesses a strong quality sales mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet.
