Job Summary
As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences that exceed expectations. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide personalized solutions, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Your expertise will be essential in driving sales, promoting products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Register sales on assigned cash sign-in, process transactions efficiently, and maintain accurate records
- Engage customers through proactive offers, product recommendations, and suggestive selling
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and inventory
- Implement asset protection strategies to prevent loss and ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist with visual merchandising, including constructing and maintaining displays, resets, and revisions
- Provide customer support in the photo area, including digital passport image services and promotional product sales
- Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including processing orders and providing customer support
- Assist with outside and indoor maintenance, ensuring a clean and orderly store environment
- Comply with all company regulations and policies, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
- Complete special assignments and other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications
* Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with blithequark or similar companies
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of store systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
