The Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) Pricing Group

The GMNS Pricing Group is a critical component of blithequark's revenue growth strategy, responsible for driving revenue from the discount business, one of our largest revenue sources. Our team works closely with various business partners to determine the best rates that encourage merchants to accept blithequark while improving service and merchant satisfaction. We drive GMNS revenue and profit growth through customer-centric pricing principles, flexible pricing architectures, and innovative pricing solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist in our Canadian Financial Analysts team, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating Canadian forecasts for businesses reducing revenue, tracking monthly performance against forecast, and identifying areas of change. Create a list of discounted business income for the Canadian region.
  • Driving the design and development process across multiple regional cost groups for all relevant reporting and forecasting activities.
  • Supporting external audits, including investigation of issues discovered, communicating with local value team managing vendor relationships to discuss issues and work to resolve issues.
  • Performing ad-hoc data analysis to measure discount rates and gain insights.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience in financial assistance or business payment and/or other finance-related roles.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create best-in-class financial models and maximize value from large amounts of financial information.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Relationship management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others in situations where they may have different goals.
  • A strong work ethic, with a passion for winning and a focus on excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Creative thinking skills, with the ability to question the rules of operation and develop new ways to address old challenges.
  • Strong project management skills, with full ownership from analysis to implementation.
  • A dedicated customer focus, with a willingness to understand and resolve customer needs and problems.
  • The ability to remain calm and flexible under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience with programming languages, such as SAS/SQL.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
